Abstract

Figurative expressions, such as metaphors, metonymies, personification, similes, and others, contribute to deepening the meaning and impact of communication. The analysis of figurative expressions in both English and Uzbek languages provides valuable insights into the structural and semantic properties of these devices, as well as their cultural and linguistic nuances.
