<p>Improving the judicial and legal system is a key feature of a democratic state governed by the rule of law. Despite extensive reforms implemented in New Uzbekistan, challenges such as inconsistency in judicial practice, delays in case consideration, staff shortages, procedural shortcomings, and threats to judicial independence remain. This article examines these issues and proposes solutions, including ensuring the stability of court decisions, expanding digital justice, strengthening procedural discipline, and enhancing public legal awareness. The proposed measures aim to improve the effectiveness of the judicial system and reinforce the rule of law.</p>

<p>This article analyzes the essence and nature of anti-corruption mechanisms as a socio-legal phenomenon, specifically focusing on the electric power sector. The author explores the negative impact of corruption on economic growth, the investment climate, and public trust in state institutions. The study classifies four primary types of anti-corruption mechanisms (legal, organizational, technological, and informational) and underscores the vital role of the internal control (compliance) system. Particular attention is given to corruption risks within the power industry and their consequences for system reliability and consumer rights. The article concludes with recommendations for addressing legislative gaps and enhancing transparency in administrative decision-making.</p>
