Abstract

This article presents a study of social protection for the population, the intensification of internal economic contradictions, the strike struggle to improve the social position of workers, the restoration of labor legislation, the economic "miracle", and the joint program of left-wing forces that envisaged significant socio-economic reforms, as well as ongoing expenditures for health insurance. Poverty is now understood as a deficiency caused by the decline in the standard of living of the population, accompanied by inflation and rising unemployment.
