Abstract

This article presents a study of social protection for the population, the intensification of internal economic contradictions, the strike movement aimed at improving workers' social conditions, the restoration of labor legislation, the economic "miracle", a joint program of left-wing forces that envisioned significant socio-economic reforms, and ongoing expenditures on health insurance. Poverty is now understood as a deficit caused by the declining standard of living, accompanied by inflation and rising unemployment.
