Abstract

This article analyzes the essence and nature of anti-corruption mechanisms as a socio-legal phenomenon, specifically focusing on the electric power sector. The author explores the negative impact of corruption on economic growth, the investment climate, and public trust in state institutions. The study classifies four primary types of anti-corruption mechanisms (legal, organizational, technological, and informational) and underscores the vital role of the internal control (compliance) system. Particular attention is given to corruption risks within the power industry and their consequences for system reliability and consumer rights. The article concludes with recommendations for addressing legislative gaps and enhancing transparency in administrative decision-making.
