IMPROVING THE JUDICIAL AND LEGAL SYSTEM IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS OF A LEGAL DEMOCRATIC STATE

Abstract

Improving the judicial and legal system is a key feature of a democratic state governed by the rule of law. Despite extensive reforms implemented in New Uzbekistan, challenges such as inconsistency in judicial practice, delays in case consideration, staff shortages, procedural shortcomings, and threats to judicial independence remain. This article examines these issues and proposes solutions, including ensuring the stability of court decisions, expanding digital justice, strengthening procedural discipline, and enhancing public legal awareness. The proposed measures aim to improve the effectiveness of the judicial system and reinforce the rule of law.
