THE ROLE OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE SYSTEM OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: SOCIO-POLITICAL ASPECTS OF COOPERATION WITHIN THE SCO
Abstract
The article examines the role of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the system of international relations within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Special attention is paid to the socio-political aspects related to ensuring regional security, strengthening trust among states, developing intercultural dialogue, and supporting sustainable development. Based on the analysis of official documents, academic literature, and up-to-date data, the paper highlights the key directions of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy strategy within the SCO.
