THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS AND INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE OF AGILE METHODOLOGIES IN BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Abstract
This article provides a comparative analysis of traditional and modern approaches to project management. The limitations of classic methodologies such as Waterfall and the relevance of the Agile approach in the current rapidly changing digital economy are highlighted. The article covers the core values and principles of the Agile Manifesto, as well as the theoretical foundations of popular frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe. Practical experiences (case studies) of successful implementation of Agile methodologies of leading international companies such as Google, Spotify, Netflix, ING Bank, and Zara are studied in depth. The analysis proves that Agile is an effective tool for achieving competitive advantage not only in the IT sector, but also in finance, retail, and many other industries.
