THE IMPORTANCE OF PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT IN THE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF UNIVERSITIES
Abstract
This article analyzes the role and importance of project portfolio management (PPM) in the strategic management processes of universities. PPM helps universities effectively manage their resources, implement innovations, and achieve strategic goals. Additionally, the article discusses key challenges encountered when implementing PPM, such as resource shortages, a lack of qualified personnel, and the need to coordinate projects. Effective solutions and recommendations to overcome these challenges are provided. The use of PPM in universities enhances their competitiveness and supports success in delivering high-quality education and research.
