This article analyzes tekkes (khanakoh) and their Role in the pilgrimage to Mecca. The construction of tekkas in Holy cities and other large cities on the Roads to Mecca by rulers, major sheikhs and merchants was investigated. These issues are considered on the example of the actions of Khudoyar Khan, the former Khan of Kokand, to implement the plan for the construction of tekke in the city of Mecca.
