Abstract

The article provides a number of information on studying, analyzing and working with cartographic resources in the GAT environment as a basis for geographic information systems. The types of cartographic sources used as a basis in practice with GAT, the main aspects of summarizing the interrelationships of GAT and cartographic sources, information on the structural systems of geoinformation systems and its users are discussed separately. creation, some of them are examples of the selection of conditional symbols.
